Lenses bring the customer information that matters to you into view when you need it. You might use one Lens to get into the weeds on an account and another to get a bird’s eye view across your customer base.
Create different Lenses for different moments, so your team has the right level of detail when they need it.
Build a Lens with Frames
Frames are the cards that make up a Lens. Use them to bring the numbers, trends, and customer records you care about into the same view.
Each Frame starts with a primary object, such as an Account, Opportunity, Contact, Ticket, Call, Email, or Meeting. You can then use a Segment to focus the Frame on the records that matter.
Use Account Templates for Account Profiles
Design an Account Template once, then reuse it across your Account Profiles. Each Account gets the same layout with its own customer data.
You can assign the template to individual Accounts, Accounts in selected Segments, or every Account.
Create, find, and use Lenses
You can build Lenses from two places:
- My Workspace: Create a Lens for yourself or share it with others.
- Operations: If you are an admin, create Account Templates that can be assigned across your Accounts.
You can also find Lenses shared with you and public Lenses in My Workspace. Favorite a Lens to add it to the left navigation in My Workspace.
On an Account Profile, open the Reports tab to view the Lenses available for that Account.
FAQs
Can I turn a Lens into an Account Template?
No. You choose the Lens scope when you create it. If you need another scope, create a new Lens.
Does the Preview Account determine where an Account Template is published?
No. The Preview Account lets you see how the template looks with data while you build. You choose which Accounts receive it when you publish.
