Connections allow you to bring data into Unison from another source. Once connected, you can create one or more integration jobs to determine the scope and frequency for the following objects:
Add a HubSpot connector
A HubSpot connection is based on OAuth credentials and requires a HubSpot admin permission to add it.
- In Unison, click Settings from the left nav.
- Click Integrations.
- Click Add a Connection.
- Locate the HubSpot data source, and click Connect.
- Enter a name and description for the connection (e.g., Acme HubSpot Production).
- Click Next: Authenticate.
- Follow the prompts to sign into your HubSpot account and authorize the connection.
You can now configure a HubSpot integration job using the connection.
Configure a HubSpot integration job
A connected HubSpot integration pulls your accounts, contacts, opportunities, and relevant activities to be analyzed for your health score. Any updates you make in HubSpot will automatically be updated here and reflected in your score.
- In Unison, click Settings from the left nav.
- Click Integrations.
- Click the connected HubSpot data source, then click on the Incoming Fields tab.
- For each field object (Account, User, Opportunity), ensure the fields that you want in Unison are mapped to the appropriate HubSpot fields, then click on the Update Field Maps button in the bottom right corner when done.
- Click on the Connections Settings, and under Define Accounts to Pull into Unison, click on the Account Field pulldown.
- Type in the name of the field that determines which account records and related objects to use for scoring in Unison, and then provide an appropriate filter value for that field.
For example, you could use the Lifecycle Stage field, with a value of Customer. -
Click Update & Start Pulling Data.
The sync is scheduled to run every 30 minutes. Job history for each object is available for review and download.
